This question led to a nice interactive simulation where you “spin” to see where in the world you might be born — based on real birth-rate data. The higher the number of births in a country, the more likely you are to land there.
You then see what life typically looks like in that place, from income and education to life expectancy and more. It’s a simple way to experience how much your starting point in life can shape your future.
