Fireflies.aijust launched Voice Agents... basically a lightweight AI-moderated interviewer. A dollar or two per interview. Maybe less at scale.

I just tried it out myself. Setup was surprisingly fast and easy, the backend is customizable, and the reporting gives you full annotated transcripts plus various summary options. The interviewer agent itself? Decent. Quality? Good.
Someone at Fireflies must have watched the recent funding rounds flowing into the AI-moderated interview space and thought: we can do that too. And they're probably right... at least for the simpler use cases.
Is it a replacement for a robust AIMA stack? No. But that's not really the point.
What is interesting is the speed at which these tools are commoditizing. A meeting transcription app pivots into "ïnterviewer" territory almost as an afterthought.
